Aerial
Angles
Here is a technical overview (and some sample photos) of what angles are available
in the
world of Aerial Photography, along with some links that correspond to our packages
that are
designed to fit every need.
| Close-Up
Oblique: These images show your site and its property boundaries or other boundaries that are requested by you specifically. The aircraft is positioned at an approximately 45-degree angle and at an altitude of roughly 1,000 feet. A circle is then flown around the site, taking a picture approximately every 10 degrees around that circle. See our Packages. (Approximately 30 - 40 images) |

Reference
Oblique: These images are used to show the surrounding areas in relation to your site. Your site will appear in the lower portion of the image (highlighted here), with the rest of the image showing the surrounding areas in that particular direction. As a standard, these images are shot at the North, South, East, and West directions. However, if you would like a specific direction shot or if there is something specific in the background that is pertinent to you, let your Account Specialist know and they will include it in the package. See our Packages. (Approximately 20 Images) |
| Wing-Over
Vertical: These images are taken from as close to directly over the site as possible. These are not true "to-scale" verticals that are used for mapping, but our verticals do work for most situations and are considerably less expensive than "to-scale" verticals. See our Packages. (Approximately 10 Images) |

Light:
One of the single most important values to a perfect image is the light. Here
are some
examples to show how images will appear, depending on the time of day in which
they are taken. This is definitely a factor you should consider when deciding
what type
of look you want for your images.
| High
Noon: This has the most contrast of all lightshadows are hard and short. This time of day is typically used for documentation or reference application. |

The
Golden Hours: This is an example of shooting in the
"Golden Hour." You will see long shadows and warm tones. These images are generally used for high-quality brochures and catalogs. The "Golden Hour" is shortly before sunrise OR sunset. |
| Dusk
& Dawn: This captures a mixture of daylight with
ambient light from interior lighting, street lights, and passing cars, and is mainly used for high-end catalogs and brochures. Capturing images pre-sunrise and post-sunset can be a challenge, but our team not only has the expertise, but the equipment to pull it off! |

| Sunny: Shadows are evident. |
Overcast: Even, neutral light distribution. |
Cloudy: Clouds can either make or break a shot, depending on what you are looking for. |

Usage Rights
Most companies just send you proofs of your images. When it is time to start
printing or
modifying those images, they have full control to charge you again and again.
With Aerials
Florida, you will receive a disc with every image we shoot. With those images,
you will receive
lifetime usage so you will never pay additional fees for the use of any images.
Travel Costs
If your site is outside our base rate area, a fuel surcharge will be added depending
on the
distance. If you have multiple sites in the same geographical area, we calculate
the total travel
distance to base your travel costs. This method reduces your overall costs by
not paying the
travel cost to each site, just the total mission. If we have multiple clients
that need images in
the same geographical area, we calculate the total mileage and divide it between
each client
to greatly reduce your total cost. This philosophy was adopted to give our clients
the most
competitive rate and highest customer satisfaction in the industry.
Rush Charges
Are you in a RUSH? If you are just looking for a one-time mission or need progressive
images of
the same site, Aerials Florida has the capability to schedule and shoot most
Florida locations
the same day. Just fill out our Aerial
Site Data form and click submit. One of our Account
Specialists will confirm your site location and price, and get the team airborne.
Remember,
you will never be charged the "rush charges" that the other guys charge
to get that
last-minute shot. Company
Not in a rush?
Our Account Specialists will schedule your site to be photographed with other
missions that may already be on the "wait-to-fly roster" for your
site's geographical area.
This service will significantly reduce your overall costs incurred for the travel
time by simply
spreading the costs to all customers involved.
Aircraft
The highlight of Aerials Florida's fleet is the Cessna 210, specifically chosen
for its ability
to get to locations fast and efficiently, while handling well in slow flight,
which is needed
to complete aerial photography missions. The range of this aircraft allows the
team to fly
across the state, shoot countless sites, and return home without refueling.
The time and
money this aircraft saves allows us to provide some of the most competitive
rates in
the industry.
